The Space
This newly renovated apartment occupies two levels of a historic Florentine palazzo. It sits on the third floor, with long flights of stairs and no elevator. It comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests across three bedrooms: one with a double bed and two with twin beds.
The spacious living area opens onto a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, ideal for groups and families sharing meals together. Every detail reflects the character of traditional Florentine residences: original earthenware tile flooring, a vaulted ceiling with exposed timber beams, and a stone fireplace (decorative, kept non-functional for safety reasons). The upper floor retains period tile flooring, exposed beams, and elegant portraits, giving the home an authentic historic feel.
Amenities include Wi-Fi fibre-optic broadband, air conditioning, heating, television, hair dryer, washing machine, ironing kit, and fresh linen and towels for every guest. Under local regulations (Florence, climatic zone D), heating can only be used between 1 November and 15 April.
A practical note: Italian homes have a limited electrical capacity, so running multiple high-draw appliances at once may trip the main switch. The reset box (a small white unit) will be pointed out at check-in.
Access
Check-in time: 3 PM – 7 PM
As there is no front desk, please confirm your arrival time at least 24 hours in advance. Late check-ins must also be arranged and approved at least 24 hours ahead.
Early and late check-ins incur an additional fee:
From 12 PM to 3 PM: €10 (€15 on weekends)
From 7 PM to 8 PM: €25
From 8 PM to 10 PM: €35
From 10 PM to midnight: €45
No check-ins after midnight, unless agreed upon in advance.

The Neighborhood
The apartment sits in Florence's most exclusive shopping district, just off Via Tornabuoni, the city's historic luxury street. Within a few minutes' walk you reach the Duomo (Santa Maria del Fiore), the Baptistery of San Giovanni, Piazza della Repubblica and Ponte Vecchio.
Via Tornabuoni hosts the historic flagships of Gucci, Prada, Salvatore Ferragamo, Burberry and Tiffany & Co., alongside historic cafés such as Caffè Giacosa and the renowned Cantinetta Antinori, housed in the noble Palazzo Antinori, where the family still resides and runs its business. The Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Strozzi, Mercato Centrale and the Oltrarno artisan quarter are all within walking distance, making this an ideal base to explore Florence's UNESCO World Heritage centre on foot.
Getting Around
The location is fully walkable: most of Florence's historic landmarks lie within 10–15 minutes on foot, so public transport is not needed for sightseeing.
The apartment is inside the ZTL (Zona a Traffico Limitato), Florence's restricted-traffic zone in the historic centre, and private cars cannot enter without authorisation. We strongly recommend arriving by train: Florence Santa Maria Novella station is a short walk away, with high-speed connections to Rome, Milan, Bologna and Venice. From the station, taxis can drop guests at the nearest accessible point to the building. For airport transfers, Florence Peretola (FLR) is around 15–20 minutes by taxi; Pisa Galileo Galilei (PSA) is reachable in roughly one hour by direct train. Buses (ATAF) and the city tramway have stops a few minutes' walk from the apartment.
Important Notes – Please Read Carefully
The primary guest must be at least 21 years old and will be required to sign a short-term rental agreement upon check-in for insurance and legal purposes. All guests must provide a valid ID via a secure link prior to arrival. Mosquitoes can occasionally appear during the warmer months. We provide traps and repellent spray, but some presence is still possible. No smoking, pets, parties, or loud noises are allowed, especially after 11 PM. No external guests are permitted without prior written approval, in compliance with local police regulations. The final cleaning fee covers standard checkout cleaning. Guests are expected to leave the apartment reasonably tidy, with a clean kitchen and no leftover garbage. Additional charges may apply otherwise. Only toilet paper should be flushed; no sanitary products or foreign items. Damages due to misuse may result in additional charges. Lost keys or lockouts will incur a €100 replacement fee per key set. For stays of 30 days or more, utility bills are not included and will be charged separately based on actual consumption.
