Floor access: the apartment is on the fourth floor and there is no lift. The building's lift is reserved for one resident and is not available to guests. Please take this into account when booking, especially if you travel with heavy luggage or have limited mobility.
Access
Self check-in: 3 PM – midnight. This property uses remote (self) check-in. To receive access to the apartment, every guest must complete the online upload of a valid ID document and a real-time identity verification with our operations center before entry. Access credentials are released only once the verification has been successfully completed.
Please confirm your arrival time at least 24 hours in advance. Check-ins outside the check in window must be arranged and approved at least 24 hours ahead. No check-ins after midnight, unless agreed upon in advance.

The Neighborhood
Via XXVII Aprile sits between San Lorenzo and San Marco, in the heart of Florence's UNESCO-listed historic centre. It is a lived-in residential pocket, a short walk from Mercato Centrale, the Basilica di San Lorenzo, the Medici Chapels and the Galleria dell'Accademia, home to Michelangelo's David.
Around the apartment you will find traditional trattorias, cafés, artisan shops and the San Lorenzo market for daily shopping. Piazza San Marco and the Giardino dei Semplici are minutes away, while the axis running from the Duomo to Piazza della Repubblica and Piazza della Signoria is entirely walkable.

The whole historic centre is easy to cover on foot.

Santa Maria Novella station connects Florence to Rome, Milan, Bologna and Pisa with high-speed and regional trains, and is also the starting point of the T2 tram line to the airport.
The apartment is inside Florence's ZTL (limited traffic zone): car access is regulated and no private parking is available. If you arrive by car, we recommend the paid garages in the area.
Important Notes – Please Read Carefully
The primary guest must be at least 21 years old and will be required to sign a short-term rental agreement upon check-in for insurance and legal purposes. All guests must provide a valid ID via a secure link prior to arrival. Mosquitoes can occasionally appear during the warmer months. We provide traps and repellent spray, but some presence is still possible. No smoking, pets, parties, or loud noises are allowed, especially after 11 PM. No external guests are permitted without prior written approval, in compliance with local police regulations. The final cleaning fee covers standard checkout cleaning. Guests are expected to leave the apartment reasonably tidy, with a clean kitchen and no leftover garbage. Additional charges may apply otherwise. Only toilet paper should be flushed; no sanitary products or foreign items. Damages due to misuse may result in additional charges. Lost keys or lockouts will incur a €100 replacement fee per key set. For stays of 30 days or more, utility bills are not included and will be charged separately based on actual consumption.
Electrical system: Italian homes have a limited electrical capacity. Running several appliances at the same time may trip the main switch. To restore power, switch off the appliances and reset the main switch, housed in a white box that will be shown to you on arrival.
Heating: Florence falls within climate zone D, so by law heating can only be operated from 1 November to 15 April.
Long stays: under Italian law, stays longer than 30 nights require a dedicated tenancy agreement.
